Third grade is working hard at math skills including rounding, money, word problems and around Christmas, we will begin multiplication. Please study basic addition and subtraction problems with your child often.

We are excited about doing science experiments and learning about weather and space.

In reading, we are working on skills that will help us become successful readers. After reading a story together, ask your child some questions, ask them to summarize, or ask them for the main idea.

Third grade is a great year! We will be taking the PSSA test in April. We will prepare for this all year so we are more than ready when the test comes.
