Fifth Grade is kicking off the year with fun and exciting activities. Read 180, EAP, and Literature Circles are in full swing! The students will be enjoying a variety of activities to enhance their reading strategies and comprehension.

Get those flash cards out! In Fifth Grade, we recommend that students are practicing multiplication and division facts at home.

Another fun and exciting program we will be implementing is Reading Rocks and Math Magic. During this time, we will be taking part in hands on, small group activities, games, and projects. Student will have the opportunity to use in class computer labs, computers on wheels, and the Promethean Board. This time will be designed to meet each students’ individual needs, while practicing valuable skills from the Pennsylvania Standards.
