Kindergarten is a busy year, full of both academic and social discovery. Students learn to be part of a community with their classmates as well as mathematic concepts and reading skills. Throughout the school day, students receive specific, small group instruction through reading interventions, differentiated math lessons, and Kid Writing. As the students are working hard to learn to read the world around them, we encourage you to take every opportunity to read with your child. Remember to check your child’s backpack nightly for sight word cards and keep practicing them. Thank you for your continued support at home!
