Multiple Disabilities Support

The Multiple Disabilities classroom is looking forward to another great year. Students are working extensively with the various related services provided here at Juniata. These services include Speech, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy. Students are also working with a variety of new assistive technology devices this year.

Autistic Support
Mrs. Banks, Mrs. Huber, Mrs. Mattas

The Autistic Support classrooms are implementing the VB-MAP. This program is part of the Pennsylvania Verbal Behavior Project.

Life Skills Support
Mrs. Calvert, Mrs. Carney, Mr. Estright

The Life Skills Support classrooms continue to learn through a Direct Instruction curriculum for both Reading and Math. Students are also learning skills in a variety of areas to further their independence. Many activities are planned for the year to increase skills in independence, social and daily living skills.
