About Me
Hello! My name is Bella Kies and I am the 4th Grade Writing Teacher at Juniata Elementary School in the Altoona Area School District! I graduated from Mount Aloysius College in May of 2024, with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Level Education (PreK-4th). I have wanted to become a teacher for most of my life and have fulfilled one of my greatest life goals achieving a job with this wonderful district shortly after graduating from college. I have aspirations to further my education in the coming years by obtaining a Master's Degree; I am specifically interested in focusing my graduate studies on curriculum and planning or even becoming a reading specialist. I love the outdoors, watching tv and movies, traveling to new places (especially the beach), cleaning and organizing, attending fun and unique events, and most of all being with my family.
