About Me
Hello! My name is Miss. Kies and I teach Kindergarten at Juniata Elementary School, in the Altoona Area School District! I graduated from Mount Aloysius College in May of 2024, with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Level Education (PreK-4th). I have wanted to become a teacher for most of my life and have fulfilled one of my greatest life goals achieving a job in this wonderful district shortly after graduating from college. I am currently in the process of obtaining a Master's Degree in Literacy with additional goals of becoming a Reading Specialist. I love the outdoors, watching tv and movies, traveling to new places (especially the beach), cleaning and organizing, attending fun and unique events, and most of all being with my loved ones.
