Greetings!
I am one of the Title 1 Instructional Support Teacher and Reading Specialist at Juniata Elementary School. I am proud to say that I’m a past AAHS graduate and have lived all my life in the Blair County area. I received my bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1990, masters of education from Saint Francis College in 1999 and reading specialist certification in 2015. I am fortunate to be teaching in the AASD for over 20 years. I have had the privilege working at Baker and Washington & Jefferson Elementary Schools in the past. Since 2013, I have been blessed teaching at Juniata Elementary.
I truly enjoy working with the student, families, and staff. I get to teach reading, collaborate with all grade levels, and help in the planning of our Parent Involvement Events. Some other aspects of my job are to provide embedded professional development, collect/analyze data, and instill best instructional strategies.
