Greetings!
I am one of the Title 1 Instructional Support Teacher and Reading Specialist at Juniata Elementary School. I am proud to say that I’m a past AAHS graduate and have lived all my life in the Blair County area. I received my bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1990, masters of education from Saint Francis College in 1999 and reading specialist certification in 2015. I am fortunate to be teaching in the AASD for over 30 years. I have had the privilege working at Baker and Washington & Jefferson Elementary Schools in the past. Since 2013, I have been blessed teaching at Juniata Elementary.
I truly enjoy working with the student, families, and staff. I teach reading interventions, collaborate with all grade level teams, and help in the planning of our monthly Parent and Family Title I Events. Some other aspects of my job are to provide embedded professional development, collect/analyze data, and instill best instructional strategies.
